                                 "Building a Church Through Outreach"

Faultless

ELCOG 11/4/07

Text: Jude 24

Revolve in your mind that wondrous word, "faultless!" We are far off from it now; but as our Lord never stops short of perfection in his work of love, we shall reach it one day. The Saviour who will keep his people to the end, will also present them at last to himself, as "a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing, but holy and without blemish."

Eph. 5:26

26That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Eph. 5:27

27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

When Christ sees you this morning, what does He see? Does he see your mistakes and your failures? Does he still see your habits and your addictions? We can be free from the snares of sin. We can be free from the bondage that hinders our life. Christ has paid the price to set us free from sin. When Christ sees a child of God he no longer sees our faults, but he sees our future. Our future is bright, not dim. Our future is full hope, not hopeless.

Rev. 3:5

5He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Rev. 21:27

27And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Who shall enter into the splendor of heaven? The one’s whose name are written in the lamb’s book of life. The one who has been forgiven:

Matt. 26:28

28For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Acts 2:38

38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 10:43

43To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

Rom. 3:24

24Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Rom. 3:25

25Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Rev. 1:5

5And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

The Blood has been applied and whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Rom. 10:13

13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

The Devil wants you to believe that you are so bound by sin that there is no hope for you. The devil wants you to feel so guilty about your mistakes that you feel too dirty to worship and to witness. But if you come to Jesus Christ and repent of your sins you are not guilty anymore. You are not at fault anymore, but rather you are faultless.

But how will Jesus make us faultless? He will wash us from our sins in his own blood until we are white and fair as God’s purest angel; and we shall be clothed in his righteousness, that righteousness which makes the saint who wears it positively faultless; yea, perfect in the sight of God. We shall be unblameable and unreproveable even in his eyes. His law will not only have no charge against us, but it will be magnified in us. Moreover, the work of the Holy Spirit within us will be altogether complete. He will make us so perfectly holy, that we shall have no lingering tendency to sin.

Rom. 5:9

9Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Rom. 5:10

10For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

1 Cor. 6:11

11And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

The Price has been paid for you to be justified. The price has been paid for you to be faultless. The devil backs you into the corner of guilt and makes you feel worthless, but you are somebody, Jesus loved you enough to die on the cross to make you faultless. You are justified. You are saved. You are delivered through Jesus Christ.

Phil. 4:4

4Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Phil. 4:5

5Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

Phil. 4:6

6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Phil. 4:7

7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Rejoice today, your name is written in the lamb’s book of life. Don’t live defeated! You are faultless. Don’t live in depression or in the shadow of suicide. You are faultless!

We shall be holy even as God is holy, and in his presence we shall dwell for ever. Saints will not be out of place in heaven, their beauty will be as great as that of the place prepared for them.

1 Thess. 4:13

13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

1 Thess. 4:14

14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

1 Thess. 4:15

15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

1 Thess. 4:16

16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

1 Thess. 4:17

17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1 Thess. 4:18

18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Let me comfort you this morning. You are faultless and the trumpet is about to sound! Get ready. Defeat the devil in your life and live in victory.

Rom. 8:1

1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Rom. 8:2

2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

You are faultless and you should not live in condemnation. Let Christ take that away. Live in the spirit and be free from that bondage that the devil is trying to hinder you with. The Lord has changed your position with his blood. He has made a guilty person innocent. He is here to turn your life around. Will you let him present you faultless?
